Day 1
The first working day of our Erasmus E.A.R.T.H project in Chalkida: greeting the host, presentation of the partner countries, a ride through the city on the tourist train, a tour of the archaeological museum and lunch at the school prepared for the participants by the host's parents.
Day 2
At the lecture, we learned interesting facts about Eurip's phenomenon (better known as "crazy water"). After the lecture, we visited the private factory "bfesh Spitiko", where natural juices without added sugar are still produced by hand. The project partners were received in the City Hall by the Mayor of Chalkida. This was followed by a visit to the city's most famous pastry shop, where the participants prepared biscuits. But certainly the strongest impression was left by the Greek tragedy, performed just for our visit by professional actors in one of the city's theaters.
Day 3
On the 3rd day in Greece, we visited Eretria, an ancient coastal city in Euborea, the mini-brewery "Septem" that produces the best Greek beer, awarded at numerous world competitions, and the Sarlis farm, which deals with bio-agriculture and circular economy.
Day 4
We spent the fourth day of mobility at the University of Athens in Psachna, where we listened to lectures by university professors on sustainable development and the circular economy. Professor Antonios Livieratos held a lecture and workshop on starting a start-up, after which the students presented their business ideas. During the students' workshop, the teachers had a working meeting and an agreement on the further course of activities related to the project.
Day 5
A beautiful day in beautiful Athens - there is no other way to describe the last day of our mobility in Greece. After a guided tour of the Acropolis and the museum, our hosts organized a certificate awarding ceremony for the participants on Onyx Hill, the place where the Athenians held meetings and where democracy was born in the 5th century BC. It was especially cheerful in the evening, at the farewell party where we brought another mobility of our project to an end.
